General Classification

This is the competitive option. For an extra ten bucks turn the ride into a race. You're on the long route with everyone else, but now riding for cash--and glory.

All riders start when the ferry unloads. During the ride, you must take a picture of the landmark identified as the Control Point. After the ride, fill out a brief form with your results and submit it with your Strava file. Tom will sort everything out, square up with the winners, and post the results.

This year the categories are Open Men, Open Women, and Masters (45+). Payouts are based on the number of registrations (which is capped at 100).  Every registered participant contributes to the pool but only those signed up for GC are eligible for payouts. Champions earn $2 from each participant, second place $1, and third get $0.50 for a complete podium.
